So you want to learn to knit? For the absolute beginner knitter,
this class will get you started with the basics of knitting. We'll
start with casting on and proceed to the knit stitch. Once we've
mastered those, we'll learn to purl, and then to cast off. We will
be knitting mostly small samples in class, with a pattern for you to
take home to work on for more practice.
Class materials:
Wool (strongly preferred) no smaller than worsted weight, suggest
Cascade 220 Superwash (no winding required!)
Size 5 mm straight or circular knitting needles (larger if yarn
chosen requires it)
