Fly Away Blanket class - Tues. Nov. 26th 6:30-8:30 & Date TBA

This class will be held in 2 sessions - both class dates are included in main price OR you can register for just part 1 or part 2. 

The second date will be chosen by class vote

This blankie is knit one square at a time. After the desired number of squares are knit, they are seamed together. A border is picked up around the edge to complete the project. Make as many squares as desired, using a combination of MC and CC colours per your design concept.

Week 1 we will work on how the increases work, how to choose and arrange colours and get started on a sample square and discuss how to do the decreases.

Week 2 is all about seaming in garter stitch. You do not have to have taken the first class to take the seaming class. This is about seaming in plain garter stitch and you are welcome to bring a few swatches to practice on

Skill level - you should know how to do the knit stitch. That is all!

*** class fee includes the pattern as well as a ball of Cascade 220 SW Merino and a mini ball for contrast. If you want to do a full blanket you can come in ahead and pick your colours. 

*** if you have a Ravelry account (and you should) please come with your username so I can add the pattern to your account.

*** needle required is a 4.5mm or 5mm
