 Nixe by Melanie Berg

Balayage is Pascuali's latest creation, developed in collaboration with famous designer, and their good friend, Melanie Berg alias Mairlynd. This is the hand-dyed yarn using the colours of the solid Balayage yarns - use them together for harmonious colour blending.

The special feature of this yarn is its mottled grey shade, which has been achieved by combining 80 percent white and grey baby alpaca with 20 percent white organic merino wool.  This combination creates a colour gradient with a very natural hand dyed feel, resulting in a harmonious colour palette with limitless possibilities.

Balayage is perfect for shawls and scarves.  It also lends itself beautifully for sweaters and cardigans. Its fine stitch definition is ideal for cables, lace and colourwork such as Fair Isle.

The mixture of delicate baby alpaca and fine merino wool makes Balayage a yarn that is soft and gentle on the skin.  It can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin and is also suitable for babies and children

80% Alpaca (BabyAlpaca)
20% Virgin Wool (Organic Merino extra fine, 21,5 micron, mulesing free)

Tip: It is advisable to always order enough yarn for your desired model to ensure you knit your entire project with yarn of the same dye batch. In case of doubt, please make a gauge sample immediately after receiving the yarn. In this way, you can estimate whether you have ordered sufficient quantity and, if necessary, reorder directly.

Care: We recommend washing your knitwear made of Balayage by hand in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent. Do not machine wash! Dry flat, preferably on a terry towel, to avoid stretching. Under no circumstances should you dry it directly on a heat source or in the blazing sun!
