Why Merino, Yak and Linen?
Merino was chosen for that instantly recognisable soft and squishy base that we know you love. Yak is a dream fibre that adds a level of silkiness that warms your fingers as you work your stitches.
And Linen?
That’s our superhero.
Linen adds a rustic charm to this unique blend. Its strength and durability allow your garments to hold their structure and be soft yet hard-wearing. It also creates those natural flecks and reduces pilling. Which we know is essential to you.
Linen also has deep connections with our Irish culture, so it’s also our way of adding a touch of Ireland to each skein.

Nua is non-superwash, which creates a lighter yarn with a bit more bounce, making blocking easier and helping projects (especially garments) to hold their shape nicely.

Sport weight yarns are less common in Europe, but I think it is the perfect weight; it is light enough to do fine colour work and create lighter sweaters, but still knits up quickly enough that big projects don’t take too long.
